Wrap party for Sino-British co-production “Untamed” – October 7th 2021

On October the 7th, 2021, we celebrated the wrap party of the new Sino-British co-production Untamed. The film tells the incredible true life story of Zhu Shenghao, who overcame many difficulties to singlehandedly translate William Shakespeare’s works into Chinese. During wartime, pure determination motivated him to eventually translate thirty-one Shakespeare texts!

Untamed is a China-UK co-production, with filming in China being completed after. Stay tuned for more details about this sure-to-be astounding film. Renowned participants included the screenwriter, stars, producers and more talented cast and crew. Zhu Shenghao’s son Shanggang also took part via a special video message! The untold story of Zhu Shenghao's life directed by the BAFTA-nominated Justin Chadwick is set to be released soon.
