On 15th July 2025, Mr. Zhang Li, Director of the China National Tourist Office in London (CNTO London) and Mr. Pan Hang, Assistant Director of CNTO London, were invited to participate in the “World Travel Market 2025 (WTM) Promotion Seminar” held by Reed Exhibitions (RX) at the newly expanded Phase 3 venue of the ExCeL London.
This event highlighted WTM 2025’s innovative initiatives, key schedules, and marketing and PR promotional resources, which provide highly valuable guides for governments and travel and tourism companies to participate in this international tourism event.
With the successful completion of the Phase 3 expansion of London’s ExCeL International Convention and Exhibition Center, WTM 2025 will have even more exhibition space and abundant event resources. The organiser specially arranged a guided tour to lead the guests to experience the modernized venue after the expansion, especially the newly added conference venues and supporting services and facilities, so as to let everyone feel the advantages of the new space, and emphasize that this new space will create a better exhibition platform for exhibitors from all over the world.
In addition, WTM organizers announced a number of new initiatives for the 2025 event. These include upgraded venue-based exhibition services, marketing and public relations packages, and key timelines for exhibitors. These initiatives are designed to help global exhibitors plan their trips efficiently and facilitate their participation in the show.
During discussions, Jonathan Heastie, Director of the RX Tourism Sector, exchanged views with the staff of CNTO London, and made it clear that he would actively promote Sino-British tourism cooperation, assist the Chinese tourism industry in expanding the international market through the platform of WTM, and fully demonstrate the unique charm of Chinese tourism to the global market.
It is reported that the World Travel Market 2025 (WTM) is scheduled to be held from 4th to 6th, November 2025 at the ExCeL London, and is expected to attract nearly 10,000 tourism professionals from more than 180 countries and regions. CNTO London will continue to track the progress of the preparations for WTM 2025 and provide comprehensive guides and services to Chinese exhibitors, so as to further deepen the exchange and cooperation between China and the United Kingdom in tourism and promote Chinese tourism to a broader international stage.
